Dryads are the spiteful soldiery of the wildwood, fey revenants roused from bark and shadow to defend sacred groves with merciless fury. Born of ancient wrath and woodland curses, they caper through the gloom on root-limbs and clawed branches, their hollow faces twisted with malice. Folklore tells that each one carries the memory of a desecrated glade. When a swarm of Dryads descends, battle lines shatter in panic, for few can endure the shrieking hatred of the forest made living flesh.
