War Rats are savage hunting beasts of the Skaven, driven ahead of the swarm to harry flanks, drag down stragglers and spread panic through the foe. Lean, scarred and half armoured, they prowl on filthy ground with bared fangs, twitching tails and crude masks bolted over snarling muzzles. Tales from the under-empire speak of packs bred in darkness on warp tainted meat. When they are unleashed, discipline shatters, screams rise, and the battlefield becomes a feeding ground for verminous hunger.
